City of Norwich School

Heritage Day 2018

CNS once again opened its doors to the public last Saturday, as part of the Norfolk Heritage Weekend.

It was wonderful to see so many visitors who came to look around the school and view the archive photos, portraits and magazines that were on display. The main school building was established in 1910 and is still in use today.

Many of the guests enjoyed tours of both the old and new buildings, given by current history students. It was lovely to see former pupils share their memories with the current generation.

One of the best reasons for holding Heritage Day each year is the absolute joy on the faces of former students who are reunited after many years and who enjoy a few hours of reminiscing together.
