November 2017

 Y12 Art trip to Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery

Students taking part in a Fine Art Masterclass with artists Annette Rolston and Mike Fenton. The workshop was inspired by the current Rembrandt - Lightening the darkness exhibition. Students were introduced to the method of drypoint printing. 

Y12 trip to Norwich University of the Arts : BA Fine Art, schools taster session in Printmaking.

Trip to Cern in Geneva

Students from Y11/12/13 enjoyed an educational trip to CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research near Geneva. They also visited the United Nations Headquarters.

Y9 trip to the National Holocaust Centre and Museum

Y9 students met a survivor from the Holocaust who told them all about his experiences and how his family were forced to move.  They also had the opportunity to place a stone on the memorial in the gardens. The memorial is a tribute to the 1.5 million children who died in the Holocaust. 

Y10 and Y12 trip to Queens' College Cambridge

Selected students visited Queens' Park College in Cambridge to get a taster of life and study there and learn more about how to fill in applications for university.
