CURRENT VACANCIES - Teaching Staff

The City of Norwich School - An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with a large and thriving Sixth Form. The school is ambitious with high expectations for all its staff and students. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teachers as detailed below to join our team.

We are looking for individuals who:

CURRENT VACANCIES - Support Staff 

The City of Norwich School - An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with high expectations for all its staff and students. We currently have opportunities for committed and conscientious individuals who would like to contribute to the success of our school as detailed below. 

CNS has high aspirations for all its staff and students and provides excellent support, both professionally and personally, including:

Inclusion Mentor

Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus one week

Grade 5 (NJC scale points 15-19): actual starting salary £19,618 per annum

The City of Norwich School – An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with high expectations for all its staff and students. We are now seeking to appoint an Inclusion Mentor to work with the Inclusion Manager to develop, implement and lead strategies and extra support for students to raise self-esteem, confidence and resilience. The Inclusion Mentor will also work with teaching colleagues to plan and deliver target support to raise achievement, attendance and overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the school’s Internal Exclusion Unit, and  will have the ability to encourage students to learn and engender positive attitudes to learning, as well as manage student behaviour and challenge underperformance.

Grade 4 (NJC scale points 11-14): actual starting salary £15,513 per annum 

The City of Norwich School – An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with high expectations for all its staff and students. We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Curriculum Support Coach.

 

The ideal candidate will be a graduate in Maths, Science or other relevant discipline to support the learning of identified students in small groups or on a one to one basis. You will work with class teachers, Faculty Leadership and School Leadership to improve rates of progression and raise levels of attainment.
