• 30^th Nov Warner Bros Studio Tour On Thursday 23rd November, Year 10 and Year 12 creative technology students visited the Harry Potter Studios in London, in order to inspire and introduce them to the industry practices of design technology.
• 24^th Nov Headteacher's Message, Friday 24th November 2023 Yesterday and today Mr Sunderland and I were at the Ormiston Leadership Conference in Nottingham, engaging in a range of talks and workshops all focused on school improvement.
• 23^rd Nov Sixth formers enjoy drama workshop On Tuesday 14th November, Year 12 and 13 drama students took part in a workshop with Molly Cutter, a professional actor from The Royal Central School for Speech and Drama.
• 23^rd Nov Appeal for Norwich Foodbank donations Working with the Norwich Foodbank, we are looking for donations to help support the local community at Christmas.
• 21^st Nov Christmas Celebration 2023 Come and join us on Thursday 14th December and enjoy our fabulous Christmas Celebration - an evening full of music, dance, drama and more from the students at CNS!
• 17^th Nov Headteacher's Message, Friday 17th November 2023 One of my favourite aspects of CNS and one of the things I am most proud of is the musicianship within our school.
• 16^th Nov Care and Accomodation Providers Required! Norwich City Football Club's Academy are seeking family homes (within the local area) to provide care and accommodation for their talented young academy players aged between 13 and 18 years of age.
• 16^th Nov Music Outreach at Eaton Primary School On Wednesday 15th November, Mrs Reddington and Mr Dockray visited Eaton Primary School with the CNS brass quintet. They performed to Year 4 and Year 6 pupils, giving instrument demonstrations and a small concert.
• 16^th Nov Winter Concert 2023 The music department at CNS will be holding its annual winter concert on Thursday 7th December 2023 at 6pm in the Fisher Centre.
• 13^th Nov OAT Christmas Card Competition We had lots of wonderful entries for this year's OAT Christmas Card competition, and they have now all been sent off to the Trust.
• 13^th Nov Echoes from the East Last Wednesday, a group of CNS students took part in the first rehearsal of a newly formed county-wide showcase vocal group made up of young people from across Norfolk, that will be working with Mark De' Lisser over the next few months.
• 10^th Nov Headteacher's Message, Friday 10th November 2023 Congratulations to Year 11 on completing their first week of mock examinations. They have conducted themselves superbly and look very tired today.
• 6^th Nov Onatti delight MFL students On Friday 3rd November, Year 8 students were given the opportunity to watch a play in French by Onatti Productions.
• 3^rd Nov Headteacher's Message, Friday 3rd November 2023 Yesterday we welcomed Ormiston Academy Trust’s new CEO Tom Rees to CNS as part of his visit to schools in the East.
• 20^th Oct Headteacher's Message, Friday 20th October 2023 We have been busy at CNS this week welcoming Year 6 families for Open Morning Tours of the school. The feedback has been excellent, and the tours are a helpful way of students and parents experiencing school during the working day.
• 19^th Oct Guildhall School of Music & Drama visit Guildhall School of music and drama were working with us on Friday last week. Chris on double bass, Amol on drumkit and Will on piano, are an extremely talented jazz trio.
• 17^th Oct Year 12s visit Sainsbury Centre Sculpture Park On Tuesday the 10th October, the Year 12 art group visited the Sainsbury Centre Sculpture Park, to view the permanent collection and the current exhibition "The Stuff of Life/The life of Stuff".
• 17^th Oct Students enjoy ETO workshop On Tuesday and Wednesday last week, the English Touring Opera Company (ETO) visited the school to deliver a workshop to some of our Year 10 and 11 GCSE Music and Drama students.

• 10^th Oct CNSA Quiz'n'Chips The annual CNSA Quiz and Chips evening will be on Friday 17th November from 6.30 for a 7pm start.
• 10^th Oct Year 6 Open Evening 2023 CNS opened its doors to prospective students and their parents and carers on Thursday 6th October for its annual Year 6 Open Evening.
• 10^th Oct Year 7 parent and carer feedback We have been surveying Year 7 parents to gauge how well their children have settled into school, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
