Headteacher's Message, Friday 16th October 2020
We hosted the second of our virtual parents’ evenings last night and with the exception of a few technical glitches, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
We have also been meeting Year 6 students in our local primary schools via video link to their own classrooms and giving them the opportunity to ask Mrs Tillyard, a student and me questions about being a student at CNS. It was wonderful to see Year 6 in their own classrooms and reinforced how important it is that schools remain open so children can be learning and together again.
The level of adaptation that schools and families have had to make as a result of the continuing Covid-19 restrictions is remarkable and students, parents and staff have coped this half term with change, compromise and challenge. I am immensely proud of what the whole CNS community has achieved this half term and we continually review what is working well and making adaptations as required. Thank you for all your support this half term and I welcome your feedback so together we can ensure the best possible experience at school for all our students.
I wish you all a very safe and happy half term and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to CNS on November 2nd.
