Headteacher's Message, Friday 25th November 2022
This week I have been at the OAT Annual Conference where the focus has been on addressing mental health and how we can support students in our schools. It is an opportunity to bring everyone from the OAT family together to debate, discuss and share ideas and good practice. Addressing mental health in schools is now, perhaps more than ever before, of critical importance and I feel lucky to be part of such a big trust that values the child at its heart.
During the conference, CNS was presented with the Key Stage 5 A-level Attainment Award, for the best A-level results across the Trust. I am extremely proud of this achievement, which is the result of an excellent sixth form and expert teaching; congratulations to everyone that has contributed to this success.
Well done also to all our students achieving positive praise and points from teachers. It is important that students keep to school expectations of Punctual, Polite and Prepared and we very much appreciate the support of parents and carers in helping children meet these expectations. Please do check on Go 4 Schools so that you can praise your child when they receive positives.
I am looking forward to a quiet weekend after a busy week. I hope you have a lovely weekend whatever you have planned.
