City of Norwich School

Headteacher's Message, Thursday 17th December 2020

It has been a remarkable term and I am immensely proud of the achievements CNS have made. I am delighted we have been able to remain open with strong attendance and provide a consistently excellent learning environment. In addition, we have been a safe space for many children and families in need and the whole CNS community has been here for each other. The adaptability and resilience of the students and staff has left me in awe of the people I am lucky enough to work amongst each day. I am sure you will join me in wishing all the CNS community a very peaceful Christmas.

Today we held a charity day with ‘Festive Wear’ and a virtual CNS Has Got Talent, well done to all of the students and staff involved in making today a lovely end to an excellent term.

Thank you for all your kind wishes and positive feedback this term, it is greatly appreciated. If you would like to complete a more formal questionnaire, please go to Parent View here. Please also familiarise yourself with Covid procedures between now and the 23rd December which are in my letter here.

I am delighted that we are able to share the link for CNS hoodies here. They are an excellent warm alternative to CNS jumpers which we are adding to our uniform due to the classrooms temperatures resulting from increased ventilation.

I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Christmas and I wish everyone health and happiness for 2021.
