Main School Open Evening

CNS welcomed prospective Year 6 students and their families yesterday for its annual Open Evening and as usual it was buzzing with activity.

The event enabled parents, carers and students to see how the school works and the opportunity to speak to teachers and current pupils as well as see the wonderful school building and its facilities.  Headteacher Ms Philpott gave three addresses throughout the evening to a packed auditorium.

There was a lovely atmosphere in the school and there were lots of activities to take part in across the school site, from making a rainbow in a test tube in the chemistry lab and sampling some culinary wizardry in Design & Technology through to helping a robot escape from an increasingly devious set of mazes in Computer Science and being a detective in the Murder Mystery room in the English block.

Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves immensely and the feedback that we have received has been overwhelmingly positive.  A huge thank you to all the student ambassadors, guides and subject helpers who all did a spectacular job on the evening.
