NQT Induction at CNS

CNS is committed to the development of all teachers, and we have a strong and successful bespoke programme designed to support the development of NQTs. As an NQT at CNS, you can expect:

• Experienced and trained mentors: We have a team of expert mentors in all faculties who are trained and experienced in developing teachers in the early stages of their career. Each NQT has a dedicated mentor who works closely with you to develop subject-specific pedagogy and classroom practice.
• Tailored and responsive weekly PD programme: Our bespoke weekly PD program led by our Lead Practitioner and NQT Induction Co-ordinator is designed specifically to build on the experiences and skillset of teachers joining from their training placements to support a strong start to your career
• Support from Ormiston Teaching School: We work closely with Ignite Teaching School to offer our NQTs courses, conferences and opportunities for professional development outside of our school context. Ignite also oversee and quality assure our provision to ensure NQTs receive first-rate support.
