Our vision -'to be a vibrant school that is renowned for excellence' is based on the attitudes and values that were the foundation of our school over 100 years ago. We believe in high standards and rigour. This means focusing on strong GCSEs and A Levels to ensure that students are stretched and challenged, as well as ensuring that the exams they sit are for their benefit and not to simply improve our league table position. The reason for this is simple, my own sons are incredibly special to me and I run the school constantly thinking 'would I be happy if they were getting this experience?'
