Charities Week News
On Thursday we kicked off charities week with a visit from Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) which is one of our chosen charities for this year.
NARS is made up of critical care doctors and paramedics who are sent to the most serious emergencies – all unpaid and in their own time with no government funding. The team talked to students about the specialist equipment they carry on the Critical Care Unit with a number of younger students discovering just how heavy the emergency backpacks are.
Half way through the visit, the team were called away to a serious accident on the other side of Norwich, with their speedy departure highlighting the good work that they do.
