UKMT Junior Maths Challenge Champions
Well done to our Year 7 and Year 8 students, for their fantastic achievements in the Junior Maths Challenges.
The challenges began back in April, with 85 entries resulting in CNS students achieving 9 Gold Certificates, 9 Silver Certificates and 19 Bronze Certificates.
From there, the very highest performers were invited to take part in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad or the Junior Kangaroo.

The Maths Challenges are part of the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT), a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. The UKMT organises national mathematics competitions and other mathematical enrichment activities for 11-18 year old UK school pupils.
In the last academic year over 650,000 pupils from 4,500 schools took part in three individual challenges, the UK's biggest national maths competitions.
The Junior Challenge is aimed at students in Year 8 or below. It is the UK's most popular mathematics competition with over 300 000 students taking part each year.
