CNS student makes it to the OAT Spelling Bee finals!

Well, what a fantastic week it was last week for our National MFL Spelling Bee finalist Myla! After over six months of hard work and preparation, school finals and regional finals, it was a real pleasure to watch Myla again in action.

The event took place at King’s Centre, Norwich on Tuesday 7th March. After Round 1, eleven became seven and Round 2's “Fastest First” demanded speed as well as nerve. Myla put in a stunning performance, and we could not be prouder of her. She was not crowned champion on this occasion, but we look forward to great things from our budding linguist. The OAT champion was Lincoln, who had come all the way from Cowes Enterprise College on the Isle of Wight.

Myla has worked incredibly hard to develop her skills and knowledge and must be congratulated on her achievements. Well done Myla!

Thanks also to Karen Baldwin and Ryan Mallett for what has been an incredible event, which I am sure is now firmly placed on the OAT calendar.
