City of Norwich School

Headteacher's Message, Friday 8th October 2021

It is hard to believe we are already in October and half term break not too far away. The term has flown by and I am impressed by the adaptability and resilience students have again shown in adjusting to a new school day.

It is important to me that CNS is a centre of pride and excellence for the local community and part of that is local clubs and organisations being able to use our wonderful site out of school hours. A vast array of sport, drama, music and learning, takes place at CNS in the evenings and at weekends which will be further complemented by the additional facilities of the resurfaced floodlit tennis courts and Dance Studio. So many of our students and families use the school in this way and as a public building it is important that CNS can provide more than its core purpose to the local area.

I am looking forward to the weekend and hope you have a good weekend and enjoy whatever you have planned.
